“The Hindu Mandir at Lake County is a beautiful and peaceful place. The temple is huge and well-maintained, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for prayer and meditation. It’s located a bit far, on the outskirts of Grayslake, but the journey is worth it. The community is welcoming, and the priests are kind and knowledgeable. They also organize various cultural and religious events, which are wonderful to attend. Overall, it’s a lovely place to visit and connect with spirituality.”

The dedicated and welcoming community members contribute to a warm and inclusive atmosphere, making every visit a fulfilling experience. Whether attending religious ceremonies or cultural programs, visitors are sure to leave with a renewed sense of peace and connection.”
— July B“I have been visiting this mandir for past 6 years. The temple is well maintained, clean and serves as a good place for Hindu prayers. They do provide religious services/pooja at home and mandir depending on your requirements. They also perform daily/weekly and monthly poojas. The mandir has an office, auditorium and cafeteria. They have three priests at present, who are very polite and friendly. You can connect with them in case of any questions or pooja. The best part of the mandir is that it serves as one homely place for all devotees. All the poojas/festivals are performed and celebrated with equal love and respect. No matter if it’s a Mata ji chowki or Thaipusam. The weekend food services include North Indian and South Indian delicacies like chole, puri, aloo, idli, dosa etc. The volunteers do an amazing job of preparing satvik food for devotees. The mandir officials send a monthly flyer for all the programs and events regularly. The parking lot for mandir is of decent size.”
